This was a big one. We replaced two 200-amp panels and added a new meter disconnect combo on the exterior - a full service equipment overhaul done the right way from start to finish.

Here's the thing about aging service equipment - it doesn't just fail overnight. It gets pushed past its limits slowly, until one day you're dealing with tripped breakers, flickering lights, or worse. This property had a setup that simply wasn't built to handle modern electrical demands anymore. Two panels, both needing to go.

Inside, we installed a pair of new 200-amp panels side by side. Every circuit was landed cleanly, wires routed with intention, and each breaker position accounted for. No crowding, no guesswork. When you open these panels up, you can see the difference between work done in a hurry and work done right.

Outside, we added a new meter disconnect combo. This piece of the puzzle matters more than most people realize. It gives you - and the utility - a single, accessible shutoff point before power ever reaches your panels. It's a code requirement in many jurisdictions now, and it's just smart design regardless. Clean feed in, clean distribution throughout.

If your service equipment is outdated, undersized, or you're planning upgrades like EV charging, a generator, or a home addition, this is exactly the kind of work that needs to be done correctly the first time. Cutting corners on your electrical service isn't worth the risk.
